Blackened White

Your words are pure, soft and gentle falling into the water
They’re soundless and the water drops taking their way over the surface
Keeping your heart quiet and makes us all awake
I am falling faster and faster,
Finding more and more,
Though I may seem so helpless I know where light shines,
The source through all these forbidden words,
The meaning of all that ever happened
But I just couldn’t tell you,
I just can’t
Oh I can’t

Wouldn’t there be more to shine with if you knew words to speak of,
And I just flew against an angel
Colored my mind with blackened white as it shone through all I had
But I just flew against an angel
And I just couldn’t forget you,
I just can’t
Oh I can’t

There is this brightness you give when you enter my heart,
Without permission, without sensing you at all
Crawl, linger and wander inside my deep hollow spaced heart
You may fill me with emptiness until I sink through the full longing
In this vicious circle you are the brilliant end
Of the confusing desire to be out of it all in colours
And it’s blackened white you see

The cage of the full desire has been opened and there’s no key
As full as it ever was counting its days over time but flies when it is caught
Hunting over the fields once so lost and forgotten in endless,
I am falling faster and faster
Finding more and more,
More than I ever ought to find, hidden in the dreams which never come alone
Night has no darkness to stand nor rise again
And I just couldn’t tell you,
I just can’t
Oh I can’t

Would you find your way back home if I told you to stay with me,
‘Cause I just flew against an angel
Coloured my mind with blackened white as it shone through all I saw
But I just flew against an angel
And I just couldn’t forget you,
I just can’t
Oh I can’t

There is this brightness you give when you enter my heart,
Without permission, without sensing you at all
Crawl, linger and wander inside my deep hollow spaced heart
You may fill me with emptiness until I sink through the full longing
In this vicious circle you are the brilliant end
Of the confusing desire to be out of it all in colours
And it’s blackened white you see
And it’s blackened white you’ll see
