Perception Of The Sky

My shields are recovered and silent
Waiting for the coming storm to feed this hunger
Aching to be my sword I can only breathe defence
And with every breath the wall gets higher
Rules are unlimited as my dreams once were
But boundaries make this land I am now
Upon the sky of beauty the voices call it darkness
And summon the last memory kept here
Of broken shadows standing still in time
Making their way towards the surface so empty
Releasing words, once used as a line so perfect
But now creating the utterly perception of the sky
Reflect me from every corner this falls down to
To only not see me again

Million pieces of glass reflecting the inner voice
But only one of them appears so clear
As the melody finishes the words are captured
Forming more silence than you’ve ever said,
Making up a failure just around its head
To create another perception of the sky

My feet walked another road and left me here
Waiting for the coming storm to feed this hunger
Out of the reasons why lingering here towards nothing
As everything I saw here once before the silence
Was being masked by the way the false light falls
The shape its moulded in through the trees here
Shatters on the equal ground of perfection laid there
And finds a way through my empty veins
Fill me with the light given away as I see the dark
Only left here to follow the words created to dust
But the wind kept silent today
And now it falls with the utterly perception of the sky
The shades are making dark shapes on the ground
To only not see me again

Million pieces of glass reflecting the inner voice
But only one of them appears so clear
As the melody finishes the words are captured
Forming more silence than you’ve ever wanted,
Making up a failure just around its head
To create another perception of the sky

My shields are recovered and silent,
Waiting for the final sentence to be placed among the securities
Once held through dark and light, now there
To be blamed across whatever it was placed on
And as it’s there from the sky waiting to return
To only not see me again
