Writing Disillusions

Give me a voice and I might talk to you,
Forlorn words scribbled down and hauntingly frozen on the ground,
It will not catch more out of the shadows than light can bring
And the melting shades of the lines are enchanting the way it falls

Give me a pair of eyes and I’ll see right through you
Just the reflection on a mirror of my own skin through the dawn
And it will break up the shattered glass my dreams have been lying on
Bleeding in the sight of the fearless moments as it falls silent

Give me feet and I will be able to walk right over you
Distances have been making my own edges and I feel right through it
It’s never endless whenever you’re the aching ending of this road
So bring me around the miles I’ve been catching, there’s more to see

But you say you don’t want to belong here, you don’t want to see
The other part of the world remained hidden and forlorn inside their minds
But it’s the sky that makes my wings and the sun will bleed for a while
It are the stars which will bring the haunting memories right there
Where you never caught anything before but the whispering dark
Amongst other aching drowned moments it was played,
A scene across the barren landscape I once fought to rule

And it’s the truth which never lies, never finds to seek to the other way
So let it twist around your wrist, buried in the hollow meaning
So you can write down the disillusions of a withering mind
Fill the meaningless with their hollow fractions of the insecure,
And mark every sight that was here before the seconds came melting in

Give me a daydream and I might stare for hours,
Waiting and longing for the other kind and hoping to see a ray of light
Which is pressed up towards the undeniable feeling of the suffer
Of being here by the only passing hour that will mark me through

Give me a second and I will make you last forever
But through the faint silent whisper I followed the cold until it was settled
And brought down to leave its marks on your skin and melt slowly
But it was never closer than the moments I buried in time

Give me a heart and I might love you forever
A feeling wrapped around the moving desire lost in an embrace,
Making the presence of the different moments so small in their existence
So only one fraction of the scattered longing is cutting through

But you say you don’t want to belong here, you don’t want to see
The moving landscape painted by the angels from below,
Their ceiling never caught any ray of light to begin with
As my ending story seeps into the veins of your attraction

And it’s the truth which never lies, never finds to seek to the other way
So let it twist around your wrist, buried in the hollow meaning
So you can write down the disillusions of a scattered mind
Fill the meaningless with their hollow fractions of what you wanted,
And mark every word that was here before the stories came melting in

Give me a life and I might spend it with you,
As your words form my presence, my existence
