Flower Field

You kept quiet
And lost all that you wanted to give
I held my breath for once
This silence has taken too much of our sound
I can’t sleep when you’re awake
I can’t speak when you’re quiet
My shoes have walked too much it’s time to go home
And I believe for once in destiny
Bringing my heart in so much unrelieved
Your voice has kept me awake this night

It’s my stay or it’s my word
Against the wall I lay and taking all that was offered
Somewhere things went wrong
And you stop to catch me when I fall
I believe in colors so beautiful from your eyes
You take me below our existence
And my shoes are gone

I won’t regret
Won’t feel sorry for all that you blame
Stretch your hand out to me
This flower field is full of unspoken whishes
You can’t sleep when I’m awake
You can’t stay when I’m away
Come with me there’s no sorrow back to the place we belong
And we believe for once in pure and honest
Our words will never be spoken in wrong ways
My voice kept you awake during this

It’s my stay or it’s my word
Against the glass I lay and I found you again in its heart
Somewhere it’s alright
And you stop to catch me when I fall
I believe in your heart with enough space for mine
You take me below our existence
And my regret is gone

This is not the place we’ve been looking for
Farther than far from home
Take my hand I’ll show you why
Oh I’ll show you why
Our shoes have walked too much it’s time to go home
To the place where we do belong

Will you find me in this flower field,
‘Cause you already did
