Mystic Pride

Where two roads would have crossed each other
Both are left and now flee
To run away from the tireless wave
But the sun stands high on the red sky
I’d believe in angels when they fall
Teardrops on my dry skin
Like a warm river floating out of me,
Somehow it’s released and bonded
I fall endless in your embrace that once came to hold me
Liquid there’ll be a way out of the solid ground

But if you’ll make a decision out of ground
A promised word that I should follow,
If your blind pride will take your shoulders away from me
In the deep lonely night of unknown
If your mystic pride will follow us,
I will trust you blindfold
Follow you without my eyes opened,
Don’t know where you’d end
But my heart will follow your footsteps
Into dry sand

Left to linger with closed eyes in the land of trust,
Holding the hands of light,
Between darkness and the faded light,
A source of the blinding sky
You must know I still hold the fear
Of losing my eternal breath over time,
It is your breath that keeps me alive
And takes me below all pain and suffer
I fall endless in your embrace that came through the cold walls,
I’ll never take a path not chosen to listen

But if you’ll make a decision out of light,
A promised word that I should follow,
If your blind pride will take your shoulders away from me
In the deep lonely night of unknown
If your mystic pride will lead us far
I will trust you blindfold
Follow you with both hands for my eyes
Don’t know where you’d end
But my heart will follow your footsteps
Into dry sand

But my darkness came once closer
Than your sweet breath
It was the distance that led me to a ravine,
Just because I was blind and turned left
When your footsteps followed the right,
And your hands stopped time,
And your heart made me stand still

So if you’ll make a decision out of ground
And the reason won’t take their place
If your mystic pride will lead us far,
I will trust you blindfold,
Just blindfold
