Ancient Kiss

Millions years have passed by,
Some moments rushed
Others feared their speed
Caught by many, many innocent eyes
Falling through innocent clouds
To lead those who need light in the dark
When everything fears nothing,
And nothing is frightened of everything
We cling on something that has always been there
Described by theories and myths
Explained by words which killed so much more,
Written like it’s just one tale of the mind
With no feelings at all
When it will blend in with the rest you seek,
For there is nothing that I have captured,
Inside hidden thoughts

Just another tale about it,
Another word written for its existence
And not embraced by the warmth of an eternal kiss
Does it fear, does it fear
Does it fight when you stand alone,
Does it embrace you with all your warmth
They speak and they scream
They find it and they capture
They never thought of it,
But it’s so fragile
This light fallen across your face

Captured in stories told as nothing,
With blank intense leading through the world
Will it stop when you won’t hold it,
And will it fall when you try to catch
When light is dark and dark tries to light
Caught the many reasons to linger here
With fear for the reasons why it’s still here
I wait days, I wait years
It talks to me, it cries to me
Screaming that it never found home
I give it my shelter
And try to give it peace
For there is nothing I have captured,
Inside hidden thoughts

Well, another tale about it,
Another word for the lost minds
Never embraced by the warmth of an eternal kiss
Does it fear, does it live,
Does it find your home when you’re alone,
Does it embrace all your warmth
They speak and they scream,
About millions of blank words
That are used to fill its word
But it’s so fragile,
This light fallen across your face

And it is so fragile,
When it lies in my hands
I promised it my strength,
It will never be alone again with no warmth
This light fallen across your face
To let you smile
