Behind The Door

As I turn to the moving scene, lay my eyes to rest
Raise my questions into a simple formed embrace
They fall on the ground, breaking into a million pieces
Somewhere here it all got a hold of gravity
My failure does not remain comforted by invisibility
And tries to break me free from the solid mind
But it gets lost in the captured feelings
The ones they told me I never felt at all
How can I be here when the heart has told me
There is some place where the mind is waiting
Perhaps to turn this into some answers I saw before
Or letting me wander in the landscapes of reality

So somewhere in this all there is a clue,
A word turning into a key, or just a weapon
But I know what is behind that door
Why can it not appear to me at once
And break this room into some pieces of light?

As I turn the courage I never had to a fear
A fear of the knowledge what there will be now
Knowing it will try to comfort this empty shell
Nothing seems to have found its way through this all
I gather what there’s left after the storm
But Time enters and tells me there’s something else
Though I can not see through this wall, he yells
My fear has turned against him again
How can I be heard when my voice has left me
The whispers carrying my echo are waiting
Perhaps to turn this into an unforgettable story
Or to let me wander along these lines of reality

So somewhere in this all there is a clue
A word turning into a key, or just a moment
But I know what lies behind these walls
Why can it not appear to me at once
And break this all into some pieces of light?

As I turn my eyes to the closing sky,
Holding my breath for what is there to come
I lie on the ground with the shattered fear and words
Will there be a beginning or just something
Something my mind forgot to tell my heart
When pointing it into the direction of some illusion
How can I feel when there’s nothing left
The answers lie on the weak floor
Perhaps to turn this into some strength I carried before
Or to let me disappear in the questions of reality

And somewhere in this all there is a clue
A word turning into a key, or just a feeling
But I know what lies behind this all
So I’ll wait until it appears to me
And break this all into some pieces of light
