Closer To The Cold
Gentle the water falls into a greater source,
Not longing to be but there’s no word
Which could perfectly tell the longings of one heart
Trapped in the capture of this unsure light
Watch with me how this stream makes its path
Into the great surface of unknown
Its being marked with our perceptions
Comes closer to the fact of being here lost
Wandered along with the senses of my heart
Everything here, so silent
Everything there, so loud and full of voices
Making their noise sound like restless dreams
And I’m just waiting for the day to arrive
Mend my words, blend them in
With every reason you had to follow my marks
Today the sun just came a little closer
To tell me where you’ve been and to
Give me your thoughts so silently
Make me shiver, make me silent
And make me wear my cold so beautiful
The hunted stream still aches to fall down,
Making its way across your face to hunt me
The fog takes over the surface I was lying on
Makes the thoughts clear in all of this light
Your hands entwined with mine to keep
Our sight of this moving landscape still closer
Water falling from the broken sky of this
Creating rivers to let me follow it until I will see
The moments lost in time to capture again
Everything here, with you
Everything there so loud and full of voices
Making their noise sound like restless dreams
While I’m just waiting for the day to arrive
Mend my words, blend them in
With every reason you had to follow my marks
Today the sun just came a little closer
To tell me where you’ve been and to
Give me your thoughts so silently
Make me shiver, make me silent
And make me wear my cold so beautiful
Water makes again the path to you so clear,
Takes me below all the spoken words again
And will see me through this glance of my mind
Like the light which carries every forlorn memory
Everything here, with you
Everything there, so loud and full of voices
Speaking of their restless dreams hunting
But the day just arrived
So make me shiver, make me silent
And make me wear my cold so beautiful
Until it is your embracing warmth
