Colliding Shadows
There are two shadows on my wall,
Carving their edges out of reality and breaking my senses
Deep in my thoughts they’re crossing every line I placed there
Their hearts seem to collide and feed themselves
With the light coming through the window cracks I breathe in
And watch the silent ray take over their moments
But as stirred it’s all flashed against my mind and leaves me again
With nothing but myself staring into my own created moment
There are two shadows on my wall,
One seems to breathe in the other and finds the edges
They seem to move slowly as the sun shades another thought
Out of the reasons to keep the light closer I felt attracted,
They seem to not touch but still melt their centres of light
And watch with me how they’ll fall across this barren cold wall
From here they might just find another source to lit the fire
With nothing more but you creating another moment
Shade my heart and melt me through the lasting light
Right here through the middle of my own shadow
Reflections went through every corner I held
Out of the moments Time filled me with what I once was
And brought me together so close to the fact of moving fast
Through the seconds of every losing light that fell here
And the shadows on my wall won’t move until I
Catch the daylight out of here
There are two shadows on my wall,
They speak of riddles to keep me away from the simple answers
And before the questions were answered they were not asked,
But bleed into me as the source ran away with its presence
They will leave me opened for the light that comes in
Feeding me with the silence and the words I need to speak
But the embracing dark around these shadows are here
With nothing more but the creation of another moment
There are two shadows on my wall,
One embraces the other as I looked for the cold light
Their warmth giving onto, into these millions of ways
It’s reaching out to me and giving me the thoughts of breathing
Their presence is filled with the shades of my heart and are
Being held captive around the light that holds unforgiving
A breath of desire flashed by the inner voice and falls down
With nothing more but you creating another moment
Shade my heart and melt me through the lasting light
Right here through the middle of your own shadow
Reflections went through every corner you held
And the shadows on my wall won’t move until I
Catch the daylight out of here
And the shadows on my wall melted,
Embraced each other’s edges and formed one shadow
