Constellation Of Possession

Senseless in the way I lie here to watch you
The ceiling lost its glance and isn’t solid anymore
Through the cracks in shapes of the life you knew
It makes sure a part of the light once hidden
Shatters on my floor and makes a mess of my solid ground
Nowhere to be found in this undeniable feeling
Crawling through my open veins lost in time and reality
Senseless in the way I speak here to hear you
The walls of my belongings are shaped away from me
But form in their deepest souls a place where
I can shelter for the moments passing by so fast
Though the unsure light hides in a corner I’ll be able
To watch this all in the light created by someone else

In the small corner of this vast space,
With a light placed to see every other light
Not breaking the lightness, nor creating it
But it’s casting a constellation of my possession on this wall
On this small corner I was told I own

Senseless in the way the night places its scenes here
I never told you I wasn’t following its script at all
Through the dark I found the light and it shattered on my skin
Forming creations that shall never see the daylight again
And it’s there where the moments are marked with this embrace,
The holding tight form of attraction to the spine of my feelings
Making sure it’s created within some sort of time and reality
Senseless in the way I listen to the memories awake
Open wide as their presence fall towards my thoughts and feed
The hunger inside me as I know there is a place to hide
Where the unknown light will come and play with the unforgiving
Silence that made you see the perception of all the words
To watch this all in the light created by someone else

In the small corner of this vast space,
With a light placed to see every other light
Not breaking the lightness, nor creating it
But it’s casting a constellation of my possession on this wall
I seem to own more of this place than my thoughts would let me see
in this small corner I was told I own

Close my eyes to see the burning constellation in me
Faded shadows, the light came across the senseless way of breathing in
The memories speaking of words my thoughts felt so pure
It was never clear there was so much more in this all,
From corner to corner I knew it was the light of someone else
My presence was not there to be held nor free in this light
But as a ray of releasing burdens found its way through my heart

In the small corner of this vast space,
So silent, marked with doubt but stands so secure
With a light placed to see every other light
Dancing around the walls to make up their dreams
Not breaking the lightness, nor creating it
And it’s casting a constellation of my possession on this wall
I seem to own more of this place than my thoughts would let me see
In this small corner I was told I own
