Eternal Second
Time ends,
Time passes slow
Moment after moment
And I feel like turning around
I feel like holding your eyes on me
The morning has said too much
And is slowly crawling over the afternoon
My body touches the solid ground
Feeling the wet grass underneath my heart
Following the sun moving over the too perfect sky
Watching her going down
Like the reflections on your body
But you hold your hands to the sun,
Like you want to take those rays of sunshine
Making the shadows crawl away from the ground
The surface is not longer solid and tries to swallow me,
Like your time
Time ends, time passes, time follows, time makes
But in your hands it looks not so fragile anymore
In your eyes it has disappeared
Time ends, time passes
But in your hands a second is an eternity
Time ends,
Time passes slow
Moment after moment
And I feel like closing my eyes
I feel like holding your eyes on me
Just a small spark of light floating
And is slowly crawling over the afternoon
Light becomes dark and fills the perfect sky
Your lanterns of yearning lighten up
The night should travel fast, travel so slow
Because the full moon will take your light away
Her light shimmering,
Hunting over the surface of the liquid ground
Your heart seems filled with the holding thought of nearness
Hands so warm but have held the cold through the night,
The sky is no longer perfect and the clouds fill my eyes,
Like your time
Time ends, time passes, time forgets, time breaks
But in your hands a voice unheard unbroken
In your eyes it speaks and hears
Time ends, time passes
But in your hands a second is an eternity
Follow your strength and I’d follow your weakness
What whispers brought among the voices of the unheard
Like time knows what stands still
The lasting feeling to fill them with a voice
I can’t speak anymore
Your voice is mesmerizing
Time ends, time passes
In your hands time ends again
