Forbidden

As light falls on your face
Even truth can’t hide away from sorrow
But all we need to know – love
Passion as always lies again
And I’d die to make sure
You’d see or feel it underneath yourself
Time stands still it gets your face
Heartbeats of you contain so much

Heart of moonlight and starlight
I am wandering to seek the reason
But I know no one else would give me
So close as you are – all I wonder
Why should this love be forbidden
And would not have its permission
To settle down – I can’t give up now
Not when you are so forbidden close to me

Closed words and hidden lines
Without a sound telling you what love does
Perfection was never so
Never so imperfectly gone
And this kind of pure light
That I’ve never seen before in my eyes
Time stands still it gets your face
And my watch shelters over time

Heart of words in my uncompleted line
I linger in the silence of them
But I know now no one would give them
So close as you can be – all I wonder
Why should this love be forbidden
And would not have its permission
To rise up – I won’t give up now
Not when you are so forbidden close

Light captured in jars, time shelters in mirrors
It waits and stands still to fall down
You come closer, so much closer
And the feeling to sense the outside is gone
Watch the sunset rising in your voice
I might catch the words they tried to speak
And all I wonder if I’ve enough light to send back

Why should this love be forbidden
And would not have the permission
To rise up, to rise up now
Cause when you are so forbidden close
I can not stand the restless words
Not those forbidden words for my love
