Give Me My Strength

Give me your silence,
Pulled down by every reason to remain quiet
Give me your voice,
And every other whisper you push out
Give me your eternal breath
For I had said before I can’t breathe
And take me out of all this balance
To be only searching for it again
Give me your miles,
I think the King of this land won’t keep you here
After you’d told him of rivers and oceans
Of perfection around the shore
Which slowly crawls into your illusions
Set up as beautiful lies

So into the dream of keeping my own voice in here
Yes, I was silent all this time you spoke
Give me my strength back, give me my strength
Land of my own, land of this King
Everything upon shield and defence
And silently in war

Give me your map,
Plus every other directions you have to find me
Give me your notes,
All the written down words in ancient books
To only keep me alive
Give me your embrace,
For it’s only cold coming closer to it all
And taking every inch around you away
To be only seeking for this to get closer
Give me your miles,
I think the King of this land won’t keep you here
After you’d told him of forests and wide open fields
Of beauty around the corners
Which slowly melt into your delusions
Set up as perfect dreams

So into the reasons of keeping my own voice here
Yes, I was silent all this time you drew dreams
Give me my world back, give me my strength
Land of my own, land of this King
Everything upon shield and defence
And secretly in war
