Solid Water Ice Cold

Light reflected from the sun to the ground
Even that sunset light purple red-orange
Makes all of our hearts so released
Coldness fills breath, and I shiver
They stop instead of shivering through
So cold, but the thought of a warm place
Where shelter comes near and strength fills
And time reaches its end
Will save me from falling through the sunset

Your arms around me, taking me away
Hear the wind whispering through the leaves
Telling us the stories we once wanted to hear

Ice cold, ice cold was this place
Before you brought yourself here
Before the time had reached in,
Before your kiss brought me back
Ice cold, ice coldness will now be somewhere else
But here, instead of in me

The ground is frozen, starts to take and holds
Endless ways of giving myself back to you
A breath so cold flies through the sky
Takes in, makes me shiver, so cold
Time reaches its end, the day goes
And your voice stays longer than expect
When comfort comes closer to me
And time reaches its end
It’ll save me from falling through the sunset

Your arms around me, giving it all
More than I had ever seen took
And the scars with fear were all faded away

Ice cold, ice cold was this place
Before you brought yourself here
Before the time had reached in,
Before your kiss brought me back here
Ice cold, ice coldness will now be somewhere else
But here, instead of in me

I fell asleep inside your voice speaking
Woke up with the morning light
Memories of a long lost time fell on your face
The room once so cold and bitter
Everything has left the dreams
White, pure light fills, white morning light fills
All of our hearts so released

And ice cold, ice cold was this place
But you broke the solid water
Ice cold all away
