Unravelling

Within a thousand voices and their murmurs
I complete their sounds with my hollow heart
Every word is trembled across, echoing
Inwards and outwards this empty shell
I surround them, an embrace they crave
An unforgettable desire seeping into veins
Clinging on like nothing else has before
With an open mind they come to me,
And leave me hanging on a silent word

But a silent echo calls for me,
Whispering for the untold truth
To call upon the secrets and the lies

But I do not know where to begin,
Unravel the thread which spins around
The question is to gain or to loose more

Within a thousand scattered pieces I lie,
I complete their fragmented state with this,
A broken moment recaptured and lost again
With my bleeding hands and an open heart
I surround them, an embrace they crave
The undeniable longing to place them back
Into the glass window they used to be
Will they ever capture the light again
As they were used to before this

And a stolen moment calls for me,
Whispering for the untold truth
To call upon the minutes and hours

But I do not know where to begin,
To follow those questionable seconds
The question is to gain or to loose more

So within scattered voices,
I try to replace the pieces of glass
To recreate what was before and what not
I cut myself on the words they speak of,
Where they embrace me, letting me go
But keeping me as a silent longing
Within a confused state of my mind,
It seems this is all falling together

But a silent echo steals a moment
And calls for me, speaking up
To call upon the truth and my hours

And I know where to begin at,
To follow and unravel what I have
The answer is to gain more at last
