Wandering Fire
Wandering between trees and passing lights,
Makes the world turn around for once more,
Deep in the heart of a forbidden place
Where silence founds its home and is free
Desperate I started the fire,
Watching the flames getting higher and higher
When words will keep you away,
Let’s make the cold blow away
Where bodies lay in blue and white
Let there be green and red for you
With no way out again,
But this pleasant way of reaching out to you
Makes it even more willing to let my heart,
Oh to let my heart open for you
Have I not missed a voice, open wide and clear
Which will not speak but only hear
Have I not missed a sky with no dark,
Where light is dancing out of the lines
And words mark their innocence ?
So here, where I am sitting down
Watching time falling up towards the light
Let it be there, let it be here
The fire is burning harder
And I will not stare and stay
And not set its warmth free
Raindrops falling from above into the water
The forbidden lake is waiting for me
I close my eyes and dream of open gates
With no words at all you said what you said
And led me back from where my dreams started
Desperate I throw wood on the flames
When it will only feed on my flames
Inside rivers where time used to found its place
Where everything has passed by the edges
And came back to lead us to the whole wall
I stared at the light and thought open thoughts
As if there was nothing else coming back this way,
Have I not missed a light in the dark,
To guide my inner stars, leading them home,
Have I not missed a world for two hearts,
Where light is dancing out of the lines
And my eyes will follow the light
So here, where I am sitting down
Wathcing time stumbling towards the great lake
Let it be there, let it be there
The fire us burning harder
And I will not stare and stay
And not set its warmth free
Close your eyes,
Night will wander of passing darkness,
Here, where the fire is
Nothing will be cold
